Plan Your Visit

We can’t wait to see you at one of our weekend gatherings!

Before You Visit, Read This:

Look: churches are a dime a dozen and we won’t sell you short and try to convince you of something that we’ll never be able to deliver on. We’re a church full of people (mostly imperfect people) and so there are bound to be hick-ups, mess-ups, and everything else in between. With that said, there’s something that we want to make very clear, kind of like our promise to you:

We are about Jesus. We love Jesus. We can’t stop talking about Jesus. In fact, we don’t think the church is about anything other than the person, work, and our future involving Jesus! So if you can handle that part of us (which we hope you can), then we think the human part of us will be bearable too!

God has been so gracious to us and we believe that anyone can get in on His love for us! We can’t wait for you to join us!

FAQs

How long are your services?

Our Sunday gatherings range anywhere from 60-75 minutes. Each location is going to be a little different in terms of style and parts of our service as we feel we’re called to serve our respective communities in unique ways!

Is there something for my kids?

Yes! We so desire to serve your family as you lead them in following Jesus! Here’s some helpful info you might need.

Is there coffee?

Duh! Not only do we love the Lord’s favorite caffeinated bean, but we think it’s a gathering point for people and even though we love coffee, we love people even more! At certain times of the year we also have lemonade, tea, water, and other refreshments! Feel free to drink our coffee in the sanctuary, too!

Who makes decisions at Good News?

Good News is blessed by a wonderful team of servant leaders. Our Leadership Team (Elders + Deacons) have empowered our staff to carry out our Mission + Vision at Good News. Those leaders (Leadership Team) also empower a special team called the Executive Team to help set the pace for our Mission + Vision. We believe in a plurality of spiritual leaders to keep us accountable to God’s mission!

What’s the music like?

We value theologically rich, Christ exalting, worship music that you can sing! Our services are primarily contemporary with familiar songs and hymns from throughout church history.

What do I wear?

Please wear clothes! After that, we don’t care what it looks like. You can wear a suit, shorts in January, or anything in between. We want you to be comfortable and we think of ourselves as a family — so settle in with us and wear what you’d like!

How do we know who is preaching?

We’ve always said, “All of our favorite preachers preach at Good News!” We employ a Teaching Team that helps share in the preaching of the gospel on a week-to-week basis. You might hear from a Teaching Pastor, Elder, a trained member of our Teaching Team, or someone else that we know, trust, and love! Whoever is preaching is going to give you a Jesus-exalting sermon from the Bible. We know you’ll be blessed!
